Build story

At the end of the day its a truck! After moving back to my home town and back onto a dirt road with some land I needed a work horse to haul trash and drive around the property. Average and normal and things I steer clear of so when I saw the paint work (or lack there of, yes this is true patina) on the truck I knew it was for me. Big block 390ci 4 speed 4wd with power brakes and power steering it was perfect. Slow, loud, and dependable! After that I slowly built on to it making it my own. The vintage camper top was a lucky score found on a farm in the mountains and has hours of labor polishing it up. (Because polishing a turd seemed like a good use of my time) The huge light bar was to make the 8 year old in me happy. The brush guard was a good excuse to buy a real tube bender. And the ladder is because the view is always better from up there! Wheels tires and shocks because getting where I need to go is a must both on and off road. Other then that the truck just gets driven. Electric fan to make sure I can drive it all summer long with no issues. Replaced the rust that needed to he replaced and left the rest alone for now. Love the tuck and the reactions I get from my old work horse! Hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do!
