Build story

Really wanted a traditional muscle car, but earlier models are too expensive. Neighbor had a Firebird in the back 40 for 18 years with a trunk full of parts and no engine or transmission. Talked them into a free deal. All modifications aside from the wheels, rear end, and instruments came from a cheap, worn out 1999 Firebird. I rebuilt the suspension and rear axle, and I grafted in the fuel tank sheetmetal and the pedal box from the 99 Firebird. I just about finished the process off getting it CARB emissions certified and registered. It hasn’t been on the road since 1994! I took two cars that were left to rot and recycled them into something fun, fast, and a MPG monster. I only have about a couple months of work into it at this point, and now I am at a crossroads. Do I go all in and restore it and make it a nice street cruiser, or do I replace the whole front clip from the subframe up and make it a serious track car? Only time will tell!
