Everything usually needed to get a 45 year old truck running and driving reliably. New brakes up front and re done drums in the back. All new ignition and carb, etc. new seats and added a radio and a cb...4 inch lift all around on some 16 inch Steelies shoed on some 33inch classic buckshots.

Build story

Hunting buddy a state over had this old farm truck he acquired from a military auction in the 90’s. Truck was used in the army and national guard. He used it for a farm truck, it had sat for around 5 years when I picked it up in 2019. Hardest part was getting it home in a stock height 1/2 ton 2wd, barely wanted to pull that behemoth of a truck home for the 6 hour drive. I’ve been grinding away on it ever since then, I’m going for the classic 70s/80s retro build, I have a roll bar and push bar on the way off of a first gen. I’m going for the “work on Friday, go mud bogging on Saturday” type of look with it. I’m keeping the camo on it forever because I mean...it’s camo. It’s got the factory 318 small block hooked up to a 727 3 on the tree with a np203 t case. Full time 4wd so I can full time be a man. And it rides like your average 70s road tractor. Oh, also only cost me $500 and a 24 pack of natty.
