Had a race shop do the frame and cage everything else was done by my Dad and I with help from friends Bryan Harshaw built the motor

Build story
Well I was 16, all my friends had regular hot rods
One night we decided to hit the local Taco Bell after the weekly hit rod meet I had a stock bug 1600. When I got to Taco Bell everyone was already done eating my bug was so slow that’s when I decided
Fast forward July 1994 the V8 BUG was born Been driving it every summer since then. My Dad and race partner passed in 2011 so I have decided the car will stay as built for ever aside from regular maintenance
Best story to date though is my son and i along with a few buddy’s in their cars were able to do Hot Rod Power tour in it. We had a blast
