Build story

This is my 1988 Mazda GTae (1 of 300), its basically built to just to have fun in.

It started as a gearbox conversion to fix the standard Mazda gearbox that is made from glass in a different shell, and like all projects it got way out of hand and 5 years later I had built the first version, which was just a nice street, after a few car shows, I started to use it for drag racing, after running a best 1/4 mile of 10.9@129mph, it required a cage to be install to be able to race again, after this I decided to give track\hill climb racing ago as well. However in full race trim it still get taken out on Sunday drives, brunch with the boys and the odd drive your racecar to work day.
