Weber 32/36 carburetor, new brakes and shocks. Bunch of hard to find oem parts.

Build story

As a 15 year old car enthusiast it’s hard to afford a car non the less a project car. I bought this truck the same day it was listed on Facebook for $500, I had $700 saved and I spent the 500 on the truck. the rest of the money went towards a clutch master cylinder as well as a slave cylinder as it wouldn’t move. Once that was done we knew we needed a carb because the oem one was junk. My grandpa got me a 32/36 Weber carburetor. Once we got that it ran a lot better, before that though on a test drive the brakes went out, so my dad and I ordered the wrong parts a few times and got the brakes done as well as the shocks. I have been doing basic maintenance stuff while I save up for an exhaust system and tires as well as a radiator fix. I have always loved the steel wheel look so when I saw that this truck had them I went crazy over it. I had always loved Nissans/Datsun so this truck was perfect for me. I had already known how to drive manual and I was excited when I saw that this truck had a 5 speed in it. I plan on keeping this truck all original and if I did win I would get some of the parts for this truck, but most of the money would go towards my dads 46’ dodge that he has had since about my age. I love vice grip garage, he always makes me laugh and junkyard digs gives me inspiration for my truck. Thanks for accepting my truck!!! :)
