This is A French Hotrod build!
Pretty sure I’m the only one (stupid enough) in the world doing this combo.

I still need some bits and pieces to finish the car, so if i win i would use the price to get the car ready for the track (and maybe the road.)

This is my 3:rd racingcar with nr#98 ,so i think i will stick with it, got the number totally random
The decals is a tribute to Ken miles Gt40 he won 24hrs Daytona with.

I like cars that are a bit diffrent. So looking for a new build, i saw an ad for this car. I bought the car two years ago for around $1000, in pieces, but almost complete, no registration, and it had been sitting since the late 1980;s. It actually never been road legal here in Sweden after imported from Germany in 1985 ! i managed to put the original parts together, start it up and get it through the registration process to get plates and paperwork for it, and later i also got it inspected to get road legal! Yeay! Then... i tore the whole car apart again. I wanted to swap engine to make a fast street-legal and also racing certified car. Could i do that on my 12000$ budget?? I do most all of the work myself, and use what i can get my hands on when i have to make parts and stuff to fit, some old school hotrod mentality. I honestly dont think anyone has done this combo before. I am getting very close now but not really there yet.

(Simca) Matra Bagheera is ( was) a three seated, mid engined sportscar with fiberglass body, made in France between 1973 and 1980. came with either 1,3l 4cyl 82 hp or 1,4l 4cyl 90 hp engines made by Simca.

I wanted more than a four-banger, a five cylinder would sound NICE :) I found out that the 5 cyl engine from Volvo T5 was too long, but the more rare V5 from VW probably could fit. found a running donar car and began the swap, witch basically meant to redesign the whole car... lol
