Removed things that do not work and replaced with things that do. New EPS intake with non leaking gaskets. A different used carb. New metal fuel line. Re-engineered throttle linkage, patent pending. New calipers, pads and rubber brake hoses. New distributer. Fresh fuel! Gonna do more in the future. Rolling restoration.

Build story

I#039;m predisposed to vans since touring in bands and have owned a few Chevy G20 Conversions. The Vibrolas have been kicking it in a Vista Cruiser the past few years but miss the space of a van. I was totally joking around with a guy on marketplace trying to get him to trade my Astro for this sweet Beauville.
He called on a Sunday and said some low baller pissed him off and that he would take 1k cash from me that day! So I borrowed $700 from my brother, threw some tools, fluids and a couple spare tires in our Astro and headed out.
Looked awesome, ran good as we handed over cash. It only drove 1.8 miles of the 100 mile journey before the brakes locked up in front of a child day care center, lol!
Had to ask another favor of my brother since he had a trailer. Glad I wasn#039;t a dick to him growing up.
It soon developed a huge leak in the intake and ultimately sat in our yard for a year as we played life..
The International Car Show 2021 helped push us to get back on it. It is legit drivable now. Working out some kinks and needs a little bit here and there but will get driven. We are stoked. -Hoz
