Build story
This is an 1963 international loadstar 1600 that my wives grandfather bought new in 63 for a cattle truck. And has been on their ranch ever since! In 2008 the original 302 gas engine finally seized up on it and the truck sat there till my brother in law and I decided that we wanted to bring the truck back to life in memory of their grandfather! Their grandfather loved to build things in his own way so we knew that we wanted to do a build that is unique! We thought of the 5.9 cummins, but settled on the dt360, a 5.9 international to keep the IH heritage alive! From there it has stemmed into a medium duty lowered semi that catches every eye while on the road!
