Build story
The engine was assembled by my brother’s friend and neighbor, my brother also had the seats and headliner redone. When he passed away, I wanted to pay tribute to him and his service, hence the rear window decal. In 2019, my son and I took the car to his other friends place, then took him and my son to the Street Machine’s summer nationals in Minneapolis, which was a blast. After that, just been putting aside funds every year and tackling one thing at a time. Updated the control arms first, got rid of the horrible ride from the coil springs being heated to lower it and moved on from there to gauges to see what’s going on with the car. Rebuilding the transmission is on the agenda for this year.
