I began servicing this 1989 GMC truck in 1994 when I took over the maintenance department for a local RV company. The truck at the RV Company was a sales truck to show units to dealers. At one point I was then able to purchase the vehicle from the RV company. The truck has been upkept, serviced, and repaired 99% by myself. Our family has used this truck for many years for many projects. Some of those projects include; helping to getting material, lumber, etc., for moving our 1904 farmhouse, hauling a camper, hauling machinery for the farm, getting hay and feed, and basically any heavy work that is needed. The truck is still being used for work around our mini farm today. With its excess of more than 256,000 miles on a speedometer that stopped working many, many years ago, the truck is still going strong.
