Our 1967 Pontiac GTO finally gets a paint booth and we couldn't be more stoked about our colour choice. Big shout out to Dixon's Autobody!
Now after 6-800 hrs of work into this barn find restoration, it's getting 3 coats of feather fill and blocking with 220 grit sand, then 3 coats of high build primer, 320 then 500 grit sand, then 2 coats of sealer, bake it, 800 grit sand, 3 coats of base coat (2 for coverage, 3rd to lay out metallics), then 3 coats of Cromax Pro clear. We went with a darker variation on the original Mariner Turquoise for this '67 #GTO #restomod. The actual colour is based on Deep Emerald Green Metallic from the 90s era Mustang.
