Build story
Started building on this truck when I was 16. Was a low miles California truck, I think about 138,000. To me that's low miles for that style of pickup given every 16 year old kid in northern MN has one. It's also completely rust free and has never been touched body wise. It's went through a few transmissions. Just recently pulled the heads and replaced all the lifters and pushrods. When I started the build I wasn't bringing in a whole lot of cash. Enough to buy the truck, and put some very cheap but nice looking rims and tires on it. Came with the lift which was a plus. After I replaced the lifters I started having EGR problems so I just removed all of it and gutted the cats at the same time. I've always had a passion for the 99-07 GM trucks because they are so simple and cheap to work on and they are a pretty reliable truck especially for a kid with a lead foot.
