she started out as a boring stock element with a real shitty throttle and brake situation, also some rusty spots and a door that didn't like staying shut. I did all of the repairs and upgrades on my driveway in the heat of the summer. It needed a lot of repairs: brakes all around, new cv axels, sway bar end links front and rear along with front tie bar end links and lower ball joints, I also did new rear struts after messing up the rear ones with a cutting torch. The simple lift was supposed to be an easy project but with every bolt rusted in place, it took me about a month working when I had time. I also didn't have much experience doing suspension work on a car so there was a steep learning curve involved and some scars. after the lift was on I mounted up the tires and found out that they scraped the calipers in the front so naturally I went and got some cheap amazon spacers to fix it. getting the tires on I found that the inner fender was rubbing pretty bad on turns but that was nothing a sawzall couldn't fix and I got some weight reduction. she was looking minty as fuck but very underpowered and it shook like a mother fucker at highway speeds , now she just cruises around town at reasonable speeds looking fly af.
