Build story
Completely custom build from the ground up, designed to compete in the nz 4x4 trials events. \r

Very unique buggy as it’s the first of its kind running a Diesel engine. \r
\r
Built in the garage at home with a few mates and far too many beers. \r
\r
Mostly built from bits we had laying around the house and second hand parts managed to buy from friends, budget kept very low because of this. \r
\r
We are constantly upgrading and changing the setup. Currently the buggy is torn apart for some major upgrades one being a compound turbo setup I’m Currently working on. \r
\r
Being is a 4cy Toyota 3L or 2.8ltr diesel out of a early 90s Hilux, we rebuilt the motor with all new factory parts approx 10,000kms ago. \r
Recently installed a custom built 12mm injector pump and new injectors to gain a lot lore power as we had run out of fuel. Our new issue is we have plenty of room on the pump and have run out of air hence trying compound turbos to be very different. \r

We are running very custom suspension using 12” fox shocks on all 4 corners for great suspension travel and amazing ride off road.\r

Rear mounted radiator and transmission cooler to keep them out of the mud and clean and able to have air flow, with large electric fan on the back.\r
\r
Intercooler on the front doesn’t seem to get to badly full of mud and twin 7” fans.\r
