Build story
This was my first truck that I built from stuff laying around in the yard at the shop I use to work at. I built it when I was 16. When I got it the cab was sitting on a pile of skids, the motor was sitting on a skid under a tarp, and the frame was sitting with the old trans bolted up still. The cab was a factory auto cab. Changed pedal assembly and cut a hole in the floor and that was about it for the conversion. As for the cab On the older frame, that was a handful. The cab mounts didn’t line up and the column had to be dropped down about 4 inches. Other than some major brake issues that took me forever to figure out it wasn’t too bad of a swap it paid it self off 10 fold with the dump bed and hauling anything everything eoth it, but mostly scrap between school and work on the afternoons to have some extra cash to throw into the motor. Would come to school woth scrap piled higher than the cab and park in the lot surrounded by newer cars that paroles parents bought for them and then there was me. I love that truck and it’s never gonna leave my drive way.
