Build story
Dad bought this car new in September 1994 as a 95 model year, I was 4 years old and instantly enamored, immediately “claimed” it when I got my license. Gave it to me when I was 12 with 206k miles, rebuilt the top end, paint corrected, wheels and suspension. Drive it all through high school, 243k miles now. Put it in storage for 8 years, dug it out last July, dropped the auto for a ZF 5 speed from a 92, (stouter gear box than the Getrag from the 95 model year), refreshed the fuel system, a fresh upgraded suspension and brakes, and gaskets and hoses all around.
