4L80E electronic overdrive transmission found on ground at junkyard and purchased for $50.00. Walboro 255 fuel pump feeding from both factory fuel tanks (about 70 gallons capacity total). LS air conditioning compressor retrofitted into factory Winnebago AC system. PSI conversions wiring harness with drive by wire throttle. Ebay special GT45 turbocharger. Fahler Speed & Performance turbo manifold.

Build story
This Winnebago belongs to my friend Corey. Almost two years ago we built it together over a summer and documented it on my Youtube channel. It was built to be an ultimate road trip vehicle. The Winnebago had a Chrysler big block 440 and 3 speed 727 automatic transmission from the factory, which topped out at 55 or so mph and got 4 or 5 mpg. After the LS swap, it easily cruises at 75-80mph, even pulling a trailer, and gets about 8mpg. 8 miles per gallon isn't wonderful, but it's twice what it got with the original Chrysler 440. Not only does it have more power than the original engine, but it pulls away from other vehicle at stoplights even when pulling a loaded car trailer. \r

It still retains the cabin and engine-driven air conditioning, factory brakes, factory power steering system, and all internal RV features. It has a Dana 70 rear with 4.56 gears.
