Build story
I have had 30+ cars, mostly hotrods and muscle cars. When my wife died of cancer a few years back I wanted something different. My son was always into trucks and since it was just me and my dog I figured why not. I wanted a straight axle 1/2 ton as new as I could [I like the simplicity of them and it had coil springs so it road kinda modernish] and the only one was Dodge [my first and only Dodge] and I fell in love with the truck. It is my daily driver so I did not go crazy, just some fun mods that would help the power [60s engine with 90s EFI technology - the best of no worlds] and maybe a bit of fuel economy - a bit - maybe.\r

When I first got it I hated the wheels but as time went on I kinda fell in love with the late 90s vibe [so Viper like!] so I left them. It's a CA truck, so no rust and it has never been hit. It has all the normal rock chips above the headlights on the fenders [not sure how this happens] but it adds character to the truck. \r

Truck drives anywhere at anytime. It is almost 20 years old and I honestly would not trade it for anything. OK, except a new Power Wagon - those are sweet!
