I was 19 when I bought this car. It was my first car, I worked as a waiter for the December holidays to save up money to Buy it. It ended up having a starter problem so I took it to a backyard Mechanic who ended up being a meth addict. Instead of helping me fix my car he stripped down to the barebones in the engine bay and cut out all the wiring and broke half of the components in the single day it was there. I then proceeded to buy myself a workshop manual and spend the next nine months fixing this car in my back yard. it cost me over R20,000 and a relationship haha anyway, it’s my pride and joy I wouldn’t give it up for anything. It gave me a lot of problems but it also taught me a lot. Before all that, I only knew how to change a tyre. now I can rebuild this engine with a blindfold on and that’s something No one can take away from one.
