Build story

I bought the truck from a former employer. The truck is a 1966 ford f250 reg cab long box 2wd. I got the truck running and driving with all the original equipment. Then the next winter a pulled the cab fixed the floor and cab mounts. Installed all new interior mostly. Found a engine out of an 88 f150 300 Inline 6. Disassembled it and took it to the machine shop. Had the motor board 30 over and a big rv cam. Got the motor back and assembled my fist 4 stroke engine from the ground up. Installed a offinhoser 4bbl intake with adapter to the Holley efi sniper 2300. The 4 speed trans I got out of an 82 f150 I bought for 200$. The disk brakes, power brakes and dana 61 came out of 1976 f150 that a friend had in his back yard. Fully rebuilt the front and rear axle. Installed glow shift gauges and made my own wire harness for under the dash and engine compartment. Installed aluminum radiator from northern radiator built your own with electric fan. Modified the original oil bath air cleaner to fit the Holley throttle body. The truck is sporting its original paint. Still have to install the power brakes and front brakes but getting there. It did nice burn outs when it had the original dana 60 with 4.56 gears. But I wanted to have a cruiser. I'd like to take it to cruise the cost and maybe the power tour some day. So that's it in a nut shell.
