Build story

This was my daily drive in 4th year as an apprentice, until the diff blew up one day, too many burnouts!\r
That was 15 years ago.\r
This kicked off a long rebuild, stripped it back to bare shell and repainted it a more modern metallic paint, had help with that, I'm an electrician not a panel beater/painter!\r
Its been a slow. mostly finished project, there is always something that needs doing.\r
Did some engine work a couple of years ago, heads ported, bigger valves, gearbox worked, new cam etx.\r
Finally got it tuned and took it to Summernats this year, (Australian car show) before my son was born, now I got no spare time!\r
The other day I added some child restraint anchors so when this lockdown is all over, I can take the family for a drive!\r
I have a NOS kit waiting in the back of the garage for when I have time. one day!
