Build story

My name is AJ DiLullo III, I am 19 years old and my build is a 1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am that I've had since I was 6 years old.\r

Now I know what you're all thinking, daddy funded, but that's not entirely true. I still had to do well in school. The car was purchased in 2007 for $2300. It was a digital dash car with a 305TBI V8 and 700R4. It was put on the road every other year and driven only in the summer months. I loved the car so much that it gave me fuel to do my best in school, stay out of trouble and just like that, when I turned 16 I got the keys. \r

I love the look of the car, I didn't want to do any chincy mods to it because I believe that these cars look awesome with original parts that GM used from 82-92. For example, I replaced the 85-90 GTA style spoiler for a 91/92 style OER one, I got 4 front 16x8 GTA wheels and put them on all 4 corners (0 offset, stock rears had a different offset) that I painted silver to match the ground effects, full leather GTA seats and I recently did a red carpet swap to give it a more unique look in the interior. I also did some non stock mods such as Eibach Pro Line lowering springs to give the car a better stance and a Magnaflow muffler to let that 170hp V8 sing...\r

This car will live with me for the rest of my life. It is my most prized possession, my first love and my true happiness. I have met so many awesome people around cars and its all thanks to this car. I am going to build an LS for it soon but have to finish my other projects.\r

I am a HUGE third generation Firebird/Camaro fan. I currently have my 88 Trans Am, as well as an 88 GTA Trans Am and an 88 Formula 350 that I am currently doing a sloppy 6.0 LQ4 swap with a 7875 Turbo and 4L80E trans. \r
