Build story
My name is AJ DiLullo III and this is my 2nd build, a 1988 Pontiac GTA Trans Am that I haved from rotting away in the summer 2019.\r

This car was a Florida Car that came to new york in 1997. The previous owner got it as a graduation gift when he was 18. around 2007 he took the car off the road and it sat. Fast forward 12 years, I was leaving my buddies cottage in my Trans Am and spotted a black and gold GTA in a driveway. I pulled over to get a better look at it and when I did that the owner pulled into his driveway. I got out of my car and talked to him for awhile, gave him my number if he ever wanted to sell it and left. Not even 24 hours later I got a text saying he was ready to sell the car. He told me for me and me only, the car was mine for $1000\r

I worked so hard to make the money, working 2 jobs, extra hours and selling some of my things to pay for the car. It took me about 2 weeks to be able to pay for the car. The feeling of accomplishment was the best feeling in the world.\r

I installed many new parts on the car. Fuel pump, MAF sensor, South Bay Injectors, computer, chip, custom Formula wheels and tires, lowering springs and coming soon is a full exhaust, Hooker headers and I will be refinishing the stock GTA rims.\r

I am a HUGE third generation Firebird/Camaro fan. I currently have an 88 Trans Am, as well as my 88 GTA Trans Am and an 88 Formula 350 that I am currently doing a sloppy 6.0 LQ4 swap with a 7875 Turbo and 4L80E trans.\r
