Build story
I've had this truck for 19 years. It was my first vehicle and I've rebuilt it nourmous times. The current build on it will hopefully be it's last since I'm finally doing everything I've always wanted. I removed the factory big block 440 and 727 drivtrain and found a Cummins donor truck. The diesel drive train was bolted in and using parts from the donor i converted the truck to a manual trans. \r
The suspension lift uses 12 inch lift springs for a 70's chevy since no one makes that much lift for a dodge. I swapped the axles from a 74 Chevy junkyard donor by moving the spring perches and making custom driveshafts. I still need to install the bigger Dana 60 front axle. The front bumper is a custom piece I built. The top of the bumber hinges up to open the hood. The flatbed I built also from scrap metal I had. (Yes that's a front bumper that's been cut down and fitted on the back). It has a 25gal. Fuel cell mounted on, and remote reservoir shocks to a custom shock hoop mounted on the bed.\r
The engine has been left stock for now I just resealed it and painted it before the install.
