Bumper out of the scrap pile door from the junkyard sound system cobbled together from friends old ones. “custom” exhaust welded at 12 am half a 30 rack down, rebuilt th400 trans mated to the crusty trusty np203. 4 in lift I found at the junkyard with blown rancho shocks from a 97 Chevy that were professionally installed at night with a high lift jack and a skid steer and it’s all smog compliant in California.

Build story

This rig was bought buy my grandfather back in the late 80’s from a garage door repairman and had it fixed up, and drove it to the job site where it had a run in with a bulldozer (still got the battle scar to prove it) and the ranch with me in the truck. As a kid we would get river rock and use it to build rock walls, do dump runs, fix things at our restaurant. But around 2007 the truck caught on fire a bit and with the trans slipping he parked it in a field at the ranch. Until I got mky hands on it in 2013-2014~ I needed a first car so I asked him if I could get it up and running again, so I towed it to my house and started to work on it cleaning it up and getting it road worthy to start driving it every day to school. When I got my license I went anywhere my wallet could get me at 55 mph going up and down California from pozo to los Padres national forest but sadly lost those photos on my old phones. Now I just use it as a toy or tow pig, but I used it to drive to work and school for 4 years and still do some days. It the most reliable thing I own it may have some ding and dents with some factory weight reduction but it gets me anywhere. \r

It’s drivable but I’m not paying for you medical bills if you break your back riding in this thing haha.
