Build story
Everything I do is at home at the road side \r
Nothing is done at a shop.\r
I've tried to attach photos in order of work been done from engine fitting and removals to added extras \r
So my 85 vw doka vanagon \r
I got the truck 8 year ago as a project \r
No engine no trans 2 owner truck stood since 2003 \r
I built a 1.9l gas engine from 5 broken engines I got from ebay and ran the van daily \r
I got pretty fed up of the crappy vw motor and being located in England v8s are kinda rare \r
So I managed to find a range rover v8 engine \r
I stripped the engine and fully rebuilt it I cut the back of the van and threw the v8 in \r
I ran the v8 for a few year and entered it to a few vw shows where I painted the van in zombie graffiti \r
The v8 eventually became tired from all the thrashing and I parted it off and used the money to buy a full subaru 2.0 from a freind for 100 bucks.\r
I stripped the car and parted every out keeping the wiring loom and motor and then began fitting the subaru engine into the van along the way I added a few bits and welded the rust holes normal vw stuff \r
Shes a beaut and I'll never sell it \r
I'm based in the uk so driving the van would be a issue for you guys I guess
