Other than side steps, wheel well piping, a new coat of paint and a better looking rear bumper my old man put on back in the day, this unit is all original.
Build story
This truck has been in the family since 1982 when my grandfather bought it new off the dealer. Since then it's been passed down to my dad and is now a project truck between me and him. It served its full life on the farm and has been well taken care of by my dad over the years. It is a Ram d250 2 wheel drive with a 318 2 barrel under the hood, mated to a granny 4 speed. Although spending its whole life in Ontario (salt country), the body is in amazing shape (dad under oiled it yearly). It does still run however my dad and I are currently taking out the engine and rebuilding it as well as the transmission. We intend to keep its originality, to preserve a piece of history not only in our family but in the in the automotive world.
