No real mods just freshened up the engine with a cam, crank, and valves.

Build story

My 1975 Ford F-600 is a very rare and very original truck. It took me 4 years to build this truck working on it after work and school almost every day. It came from Kentucky where there was a tree laying through the middle of the hood and cab, the owner was ready to take it to the scrap yard when a family friend of mine spotted it and got ahold of me and next thing you know it was being trucked to Erie Pennsylvania where I live. This truck is almost 100% bone stock it's sitting on factory size tires (still on split rims) along with factory hight. Only thing that's not original to the truck is the engine was freshened up but still the original block and heads. What makes this truck truly rare is it's a factory four wheel drive. Ford only ever manufacturerd 2000 with the 4x4 (mine is no. 1650) got ahold of a museum in New York state that had lots of paperwork and everything to help me identify the truck and what not but they estimate only 10-12 left still in running driving condition. It's got a Clark 12 speed manual with a slider in the trans. Lot of people say it has a split rear but because it's 4x4 they have to spin at the same speed so the split is actually in the trans. Top speed is around 35 mph that's about it. At 35 mph you swear the engine is gonna come through the hood. It's still completely fully functional still even haul dirt from time to time! It's got a factory 391x Ford industrial engine witch is a dog even with a crank, valves, and a cam but it's moving around a lot of truck. Built it at home in my dirt floor barn with what I had it definitely was a fun time but turned out great in the end. Every car show I go to I get all kinds of looks and everyone wants to know about the factory 4x4 had a few people argue with me about it being a marmon Herrington, pitco, or a Coleman 4x4 kit but once I show them the documents and the pictures then are normally in aww because of how rare the truck really is. But here are a few pictures and a video of the truck enjoy!
