Build story

I bought the car in 2014 from the original owner's grandson. Eric, the original owner, had bought the vehicle new in Newstead motors in Brisbane Queensland Australia in 1958. It still has the original matching numbers for the chassis and engine. This is a 1192 cc 30hp beast. \r
On purchasing it I decided that I wanted to do a restomod. I wanted the car to retain the originality of the era whilst tastefully bringing it into the 21st century. So I added a full flow oil filter, camber compensator, front disk brakes, 2.5" axle drop, battery isolator.\r
I initially got the car soda blasted and then replaced all the rotten bits and in doing so scoured the world for parts. I have then painted the car myself with as close to the original colour as I could get.\r
It is road legal, registered and insured and I used to drive it before 'the virus'.\r
Hope you enjoy!
