Build story

I’m blessed to have a great friend named Noah. My fellow United States Marine decided to fly out to my home in NorCal and help me resurrect my mother in laws 1971 Camaro with the 307 and a power glide. The car was left for dead under an apple tree. A local black bear would use the Camaro like a step stool to get at the apples and caved in the roof. Not a problem with Noah’s patented body work ie a dead blow hammer and 1 precise swing the top was back to normal. We tried to get the 307 to fire but it would only ran badly on the 4 cylinders as the valves were all seized and those cylinders were solid carbon. We then decided to drive my Jeep Srt8 to Summit Racing bought whatever crate engine was cheapest and in stock. Proceeded to the loading docks where several employees aided Noah and I I’m tearing the box off and self clearance the wooden crate so we could shoehorn it into the back of my Jeep SRT8. We drove home as fast as humanly possible, threw on the accessory’s, installed the engine and fired it that evening. Since then I fixed the fuel tank, radiator, subframe, seats, fan, and a plethora of other issues stemming from sitting 6” in the dirt on bald tires since 1992. It comes complete with Fred Flintstone floorboards that expose the beautiful and fireball producing ceramic coated Doug Thorleys and the tires are some Cooper Cobras from the mid 80’s.
