Olds 350. Its got a cam in it, i like to call it the 3/4 race. Its got the dish pistons with large chamber heads. topped with a Holley street dominator single plane intake. Just the wrong stuff. Headers, and 3.90 posi rear diff.

Build story

I chose the Most Factree category because you may look at my quarter panel and see galvanized steel with a thick layer of finely sculpted bondo making a resemblance of the once body lines and wheel well lips. And in that moment you'll just pass it off and say to yourself, oh that's fatree. \r

Now it may have have a major exhaust leak at the header collector that creates a tick that will drive you insane. It may also have no tail pipes and some good ole turn downs that dump right under the rear seats that not only slowly kill you with exhaust fumes it also tortures you at the same time with a head pounding vibration. i may also find myself leaving oil drips where ever i park. Drips is plural because its not just one leak its multiple including but not limited to, engine oil, power steering fluid, trans fluid, coolant, and gear oil... gear oil from the brand new rebuilt diff. Unlike most cars my car also has the custom weight reduction cowel. This features water falls that come from behind the dash when it rains, instead of the standard water dams that keep water out. Its the luxury model so it comes standard with all wheel drum brakes. Also standard is the warped drums on the front breaks. I like to run power steering, water pump, and alternator all on one belt, just loose enough so that it squeals often and throws her right out of the groove. This is so when you really get er goin it just slips right over the water and power steering pumps. free horse power if you ask me. \r

The electrical is your typical harness that only 1/5 of the things work on it. One interior light likes to work every 1 and 368 door opens. The gen light works but none of the other gauge lights. It's doesn't really matter because the speedometer needle swings back and forth like a metronome. Only low beams, if you turn the highs on they all just cut right out. It's got the race car ignition, hard wired starter and hard wired ignition switch. \r

I bought this car 4 years ago when I was 16. It started with no interior, a quarter panel cut off and completely stripped. I got the quarter panel on and got the body straighten out. My next step was putting the interior in from my father's parts car. Once that was in and squared away I went ahead and pulled the motor from the parts car and installed it. The first test drive was scary, the power steering was not working correctly and the trans that came with the car that was supposedly rebuilt had no reverse or third gear. 2 years into the build and I hit a major snag. We went ahead and pulled the trans and installed the one from the parts car. Time for test drive number two. This one was a little bit more successful. We made it to the gas station and on the way back the trans line blew off. The only reason we stopped was to switch drivers at which point we saw trans fluid shooting out from underneath the car. The car would then be out in storage for the winter. Year three I got the windshield out to fix the leaks and rot, painted the hood and got the rear diff done. I drove it all that summer and fall. It's now a year later and my plans are a high compression 400 hp Olds 350 and a built 700r4. The build never ends...
