Build story

My truck started out life hauling cans of milk from dairy farms in central Nebraska. In the 60’s my Grandfather bought it for a farm truck. It was the first truck I ever drove when I was about 10 years old and I was hooked. I’ve had the truck for the last 20 years and over the past few years I got fed up with terrible brakes, the old gas engine, and the split ring wheels so I started wrenching. \r

The axles are from a Chevy one ton and bolted to the original springs, the divorced transfer case is from a 70’s international, transmission is out of a Ford diesel, and the engine is from a fork lift. The 4bt had an A-pump on it when I did the swap and it was terrible to drive so swapped in a p-pump. The power steering was a kit for a 50’s ford that I made fit. A 3 inch straight pipe exhaust is hooked to the stock turbo.
