Build story
I bought this truck little over four years ago with the intentions of getting the gas motor going. after messing around with it for quite a while and finally decided need to rebuild and I did not want to do that. Figured out that this diesel motor bolted to the trans and that was about it but that was all I needed to know. So I had to make motor mounts, oil pan, steering shaft, hockey puck body lift, make the flywheel fit from the gas motor, and fuel system. Took me 4 months from buying the motor to getting it "finished" enough to drive but all it need is a more reliable throttle cable and radiator hoses and glow plugs even though glow plugs in a can work fairly well. The motor is a whopping 51 horse so no it makes no since to do the swap but f*** it. It's a blast to drive and gets fantastic fuel mileage.
