Build story

Built as a drag-car in the early 1960's and sat in a barn for 50 years. Used to have Hilborn mechanical fuel injection. Paint on body is 50+ year old lacquer, we painted the back fenders, side panels, and the hood when we did the project. We blew the car apart and did a frame-off build, powder coated everything underneath, and built the engine ourselves. Took around 2.5 years to complete. We wanted to keep in line with the 60's hot rod style, so we opted for more traditional style wheels as well as a simple interior with a home made gauge panel and vintage style tachometer. This was our (me, my dad, and my brother) first project together and we had a great time doing it.
