3800 L67 Engine fed by a Holset HX35 on 20 pounds of boost. Currently a 4l60e behind since I shredded the T5. Runs on E85 with 80# injectors, motor is bone stock otherwise. Stock cam, stock heads, etc. \r
Currently still has the stock 2.41:1 open diff 7.5" 10 bolt so she's a cruiser.\r
Has some bigger sway bars, a boxed frame, rear discs, front dual piston calipers from a blazer, and a few other little things.\r
Gauges are all AutoMeter, seats are from a newer Monte Carlo, the A/C works now thanks to a bracket I made from scrap metal with the plasma cutter and it has cupholders!

Build story
The car was originally my grandma's car way back in the day and it originally had a 4.1 liter v6 that never ran properly. I'm a big fan of the 3800 engine but hated that they came in FWD cars. So I wanted to put one in the car with a manual trans and a turbo since it was the only RWD car I had at the time and it needed an engine/trans. \r
\r
I originally had a T5 in it but that broke as soon as I turned the boost up past 8 psi. I swapped it for a 4l60e since they're slightly stronger and bolt right up and have been making little changes here and there every year to improve it. I started this swap in 2013, and took it on its first real road trip for power tour in 2018 and have been driving it a lot since then. \r
\r
Last year I added A/C by making my own mounting brackets from some aluminum doors I found at the scrapyard. I had to step up the cooling game to match that by making a shroud from some sheet metal I found at the local scrap yard too. I built a sheet metal brake with more scrap to bend the metal for the shroud.\r
\r
I'm pretty happy with where it is right now, but eventually I'd like to put a big cam in it, a bigger turbo, a T56, and a stronger rear end in it.
