Not a whole lot yet. Has aftermarket eagle alloy 15x8 wheels, and 32x11.50 tires. Aside from that, and some headers/emmisons delete, shes bone stock. I have some big plans though..
Build story
Not overly rare, but not overly common. It a 1985 chevy k10 silverado, short box 4x4. I always found it to be a bit of an oddball, because it has a factory YE9 silverado trim package, but its a stripper model with no air conditioning, or any power options. It was also factory optioned with dual 16 gallon saddle fuel tanks and HD front springs (3 leaf pack). She has been in the family nearly 15 years, and has had a "frame on" style restoration from my dad and I back in 2011. this truck belonged to a ranch prior to me owning it, and it was used/abused a ton. Talking to the previous owner, he said that it never really came out of 4 wheel drive, and was a constant use farm truck. Anyhow, It sports the slightly anaemic LE9 305, and 700r4/208. Believe it or not, the LE9 has flat top pistons, small chamber 601 heads, larger LM1 350 cam and 9.5:1 compression, right from factree! It was my daily driver for many years and I love this old thing. we sure have been through alot together. Although it wears a somewhat purdy exterior, this truck has seen ALOT of use and abuse over the years. Currently, 456,000 km of it.. from blown diffs, four wheeling trips, firewood runs, backwoods camping/exploring, brake stands, danger zone redline, you name it.. and its probably done it. that ol 305 just dont quit. It was my first truck as a teen and Im proud to be 27, and still own it. I plan to pass it on to my son, who has already fallen in love with it, and always wants to ride in daddys truck. Its safe to say, a guy would have to pry it from my cold dead fingers..
