Build story
I got a 74 ranchero out of a burned out meth lab for $450 \r

Four flat tires that had been knifed and obscenities keyed into the paint. \r
\r
It had an engine fire so unsure if it ran or not, was missing carb and things that burn. \r
\r
Interior had all wires cut and a cat was living in it. \r
\r
I pulled out the 351 Cleveland and trans and dropped in a 400 with a c6 (well I went through 3 motors trying to find a good one then decided to just build one that was known good) \r

400m has 8:1 compression factory which is perfect for a low boost pump gas build so I scavanged up supercharger parts to blow it (still trying to come up with belts and pullleys but I got most of the rest) engine was built with a blower cam, high pressure springs and a good amount of lift so it can take a little boost.\r

In the mean time I’m runing a holly double pumper on a 4 inch stack off of a drag boat with a boat scoop. \r

Works pretty good. \r

Had to have a quick detach steering wheel so I got one off of a 50 something Chevy for $20 and then machined the steering column to remove all of the 1970s horrors, and used an old hot rod turn signal clamp on box. \r

Meat plow is 5/8 armor steel mounted to 7 inch c Chanel and it bolts on to the factory bumper mounts \r

Required re springing the front end with big block waggon springs.
