Swapped from a 4-banger to a newly built .030 over 350sbc, grafted on a rare roof made completely of glass, all new suspension, rare chrome NOS Hooker 4-point roll bar setup, headers, dual exhaust, converted from a steel bumper, round headlight car into a Spyder by cutting/welding on all new metal inner structure and framework, front and rear.
Build story
Built entirely by a 16 year old with modest help from his Dad. My son, Nathaniel, and I started with a scrap parts car 2 1/2 years ago when he was 13 with no budget, so we did all the work ourselves using spare parts and what we couldn't afford or get, we fabricated ourselves. Along the way, my son has become a great welder, fabricator, paint & body man, and engine builder and has fallen in love with this great car culture and our extended car family. But most of all, we made great memories in our garage. We’ve done the Power Tour 2019 Long Haul and several other long road trips together to include Roadkill Nights. He named the car “Miles” after the new Spider-man character, Miles Morales, and because we’ve driven it so many “miles.” ? Currently the car is in the garage for its next phase, paint and body. He calls this phase “Miles 2.0“. ?
