In process of dually swapping from and rear but I've still gonna run the ole tow pig ?.I'm currently running a turbo injection pump and injectors on a none turbo engine so there excessive black smoke ?. Also starting the engine swap this week. Pulling the factory 7.3 IDI NA and swapping in a 7.3 IDIT from a 94 parts truck I got. I deleted the factory fuel filter from above the engine. It's currently using a fuel filter from a carrier reefer trailer ( because I work in a shop that works on them slot) that is frame mounted. Also deleted the factory mechanical lift pump and running the facet dura-lift pump. As of this just a week ago, it won't start with the key. After 2 days of jumping the solenoid, I finally put in a flip switch and speaker wire to start in the cab. (You don't need to be able to start it from inside of the cab).She ain't done by any means but it's definitely rigged and pieced together. In ZTBP fashion ?.
Build story
It was an old farm truck with single rear wheels and a flatbed. I got it with the intention of making her look good but it went back to being an old farm truck. From the wiring nightmare from the previous owner running over sized fuses and melting a part of the dash harness, to the non stop fuel leaks from pressure and return lines, she is what she is.
