Build story
Hey guys! This is my entry to Deboss Garage's International Quarantine Car Show. \r
\r
First want to say thank you to Deboss and the boys for organizing this! Thanks also to the judges! It is a lot of fun and for a great cause. The entries are all beautiful (and daunting), but, in the spirit of good fun and car culture here is mine:\r
\r
4 or 5 years ago, My friend Don told me to come by and check out this car. I had never seen a 4th gen nova before. When I first set eyes on it, I was struck by the grumpy-old-man look it had to it. The ridiculous camel brown paint, chrome trim & relatively fat tire combo hit me right. I put my money down.\r
\r
When I got it, it had a 250 CI straight six and a TH350 trans. The car was almost completely original and had virtually no rust. As soon as I had the space, I pulled that tired (albeit perfectly running) sixer out of there and began the remodel.\r
\r
I spent the last two years turning this car into a sleeper/street machine. This is my first real build and I learned a lot in the process. I spent much more money than expected, but hey, that's the game!\r
\r
Please watch my video to see some of the build process!\r
