New custom floors, rear suspension rebuilt (front soon), installed a later model larger Volvo engine, custom mechanical clutch setup due to engine swap, full interior restoration under way while maintaining and enhancing the original patina on the outside. Build story
I’ve spent the last 18ish months resurrecting this car. I have gone through almost every inch of this car. The goal was to maintain the awesome exterior patina while making the interior look nice and clean. The interior is still under construction because I plan to do a custom upholstery job myself after I purchase the proper sewing machine. This car handles so great and I haven’t even been able to rebuild the front suspension yet. The goal is ultimately to keep the car period correct with the occasional upgrade.
