Lifting springs and shackles to compensate for 10in wide tires. LED taillight bulbs and H4 Halogen headlights. Edelbrock 650 cfm electric choke carb. A.K.A. All bolt ons?

Build story

Ain’t nothin special - just a pure, #s matching, and complete cougar that an 18 year old was able to snag up for 3k. Called a guy on Craigslist and he told me to stop wasting his time because he had a limited number of minutes on his flip phone, so I saw it the next morning. She had been sitting in a garage for 15 years when his 65 year old wife parked it after her last pass down the drag strip. So, I trailered it home, syphoned some gas, gave it enough carb clean to let it eat for a week, and all those other necessities to get it running again. Rebuilt the power steering control valve and took it for a drive, blew all the gaskets in the carb so I snipped a new one in. Then I did all the digical conversions and rebuilt the suspension with some new parts and spray paint along with some voluptuous rubber. I did destroy the parking pawl in the trans so I had to pull that and “rebuild it.” I think that’s it, only had it since November. She’s my daily. Daddy Derek, Momma Rich, sister Peg... I’ll be real with you, if Chris Evans peers down from heaven and blesses me with the money out of your pockets I’ll be buying a 68 Javelin that’s been in an old lady’s back yard for 10 years and dropping in an engine that I’d build after pulling it out of my barn. Thanks for making me love what I love to do you greasy bast*rds!
