1969 c30 swapped onto a half ton c10 frame. 5.3ls mated to the original sm465 4 speed, Summit racing cam, 5 inch front drop using 3 inch belltech drop knuckles, 6 inch rear drop, c notch, wheel vintiques 15x8 and 15x10, bf Goodrich radial t/a tires, tuned with HP tuners on the street, dual exhaust to an x pipe, to two vibrant quiet flow mufflers side exit of course, the complete wiring harness has been gone through pin to pin, mini spool in the 12 bolt rear end. All of the work was done by me!
Build story
Bought the c30 with the 5.3 in it with a butchered hacked together frame. Found a cheap c10 frame locally cause I wanted a low weekend cruiser that rode a lot better than the one ton frame with 19.5 inch wheels. Cleaned up the wiring and made the obd2 port work so I was able to plug in my scanner and my HP tuners interface so I could tune it myself after installing the camshaft. Bought it from a friend of mine and it was supposed to be a couple month "clean it up project" but it took a little longer than expected! here we are almost a year later and its on the road an I drive it everyday. Recently bought an AR5 transmission to swap in so I can have overdrive on the highway as I drive about 40min to work everyday.
