Rear tire carrier - I hate carriers and most of the time i run without one. I did not want a big stupid grease covered spindle sticking up so I used some DOM as a sleeve. There is a DOT latch at the back that locks the tire in place and a back up latch for overkill. The tire carrier has a limit to prevent it from swinging out too far and a bar to act as a rub rail and rest the tire on while lining up the bolts to lock it in place. Tire and wheel dial in at 160lbs - too heavy to hold in place while trying to align the bolts. The pack is for trail garbage.
