Most of the unibody has been cut away. Only the fount wheel drive train, brakes and steering wheel remain. Myself and a team of people fabricated the skin of the anglerfish by butt welding 2000 hexagons together over a tube frame. Over 1/2 KM of weld is in this beast.
Build story
I wanted to create a mobile create space with metal sculpture. The fish was chosen because there was a lot of flexibility in the shape and building it on wheels helps get it around more even though we have to trailer it everywhere. Theres still lot of work to do. I just moved shops again in Toronto and now where getting set up again. Hopefully in a few months I can start fabricating the missing pieces. I'm considering swapping out the base vehicle for something with more power.
