Build story

It's been a constant project, daily driver and work truck for about 6 years now and went through many changes along the way. Most pictures are recent and I'm working on the truck all the time.. it just never ends. It was a rust bucket when I got it (body anyway), the collage kid I bought it from covered the rot in aluminum tape and painted it. My buddy Matt and I did a cab swap in a weekend using a 2wd truck. I also put a custom flatbed on it and used it for work for several years.\r
Last year I swapped the flatbed to my 91 D250, put a dump box on that and put the stock bed from the 92 on this 91. \r
The frame, engine, axles and transfer case are about all that's left from the original 91\r
\r
Since these pictures I've installed a bedside mounted tool box on driver side and the job box has been removed. I'm working on a back rack/roll bar soon with a removable bed rail rack for my 14' aluminum boat. With my dirt bike rack on the rear hitches, I can bring the boat and bike and still have a bed free for gear.\r
\r
Some people would sell their vehicle if it needed too much work. This truck has been hit by moron drivers so many times the frame could use a swap. I have no problem giving my truck what it needs, frame, engine.. whatever. It's almost 30 years old and still runs great. I wouldn't trade my first gen Cummins for any new vehicle. You keep your imports, fords and chevys, they just aint minty enough.
