Grandfather gave me the truck last spring, didn’t run, e-brake was locked, had been sitting under a Apple tree in southern Virginia for 10 years. Caught on fire while trying to load it on a trailer, brought it home to be my first truck. Slow start while scraping together some money. Took the bed off and starting getting to business, the original tanks were rotted, found some on marketplace, got all new fuel pumps, she ran barely, had to buy the dual tank reservoir, she cheeched to life. Didn’t want to get stuck while dicking round with my buddies so got the limited slip axle for a song. Wanted to get aluminum wheels found a guy with the American racing, bought them. Dad bought me some paint to paint the frame and whatever else is rusting. School restricts my working abilities so money’s been short, but with any old truck you’ll fix one problem and five more show up.
