Build story
We looked at all the broken stuff in my brothers yard. The best pieces were the 1973 Dart with missing/destroyed front suspension, and the 1976 F250 4x4 with a totally wrecked body.\r
We took the body off the truck, and all the drive train out of the Dart. Picked up the car with a gantry crane, set it on top of the stripped truck chassis, and then made custom connectors to hold the car to the truck frame. We adapted a 1981 AMC Eagle brake booster/master to the Ford brakes, and installed a custom floor pedal to work the clutch. Bucket seats from a 1997 S10 and a custom plywood center console complete the build. We were going for lowest cost, maximum fun. The wheelbase is off because we aren't good welders, and simply don't care.
