This was entirely inspired by my favorite show Trailer Park Boys. My dad bought the car in 2004 and it sat in a clearing in the woods for 14 years. We were watching episodes again on Netflix when mentioned to me that he had a car that resembled the “Shitmobile” from the show. \r
It didn’t take much to make the car look very similar to the show car, as it was already thoroughly rotted and various shades of green. All that has been done to it in order to make it “road worthy” has been a custom sheet metal floor, brake lines, front pads/calipers, fuel lines, plugs/wires/cap/rotor, and other miscellaneous items. It has been to a few local shows and has had a very positive reaction among fans of the show and people who have no idea alike. Although the Shitmobile in the show was a ‘75 New Yorker and this is a Newport, it is one of the only replicas I have seen that is this close.
